Descrizione

San Vittore, parish church of Missaglia (diocese of Milan) since the early Middle Ages, was described with a rector and eleven canons at the end of the 14th century. An episcopal visitation by the archbishop Gabriele Sforza took place in 1455 and the minutes of it are preserved among the files of the notaries Giovanni Ciocca and Giovanni Pietro Ciocca in the State Archives of Milan. These documents include the inventory of books and paraments owned by the church; 13 liturgical books are listed. An edition of the inventory is here provided
