A fragment of a MS, containing Cicero’s Pro Milone, has been reused as cover for the records of
the notary and scholar Francesco Bresciani (1629-1700), active in Cremona. It has been discovered
in the Archivio di Stato of Cremona, Notarile, filza 5556; palaeographical features point to the middle
of the XVth Century and to Northern Italy as place of origin.
