A Bible fragment from Polirone (Mantova, Bibl. Com., MS 131 [A.V.1]) belongs to the early phase of the Roman Giant Bibles. It is to be dated straight after the Geneva Bible (Genève, Bibl. Publique et universitaire, lat. 1), and to be compared with the Angelica Bible I (Roma, Bibl. Angelica, MS 1272 [T.I.9]).
